Grammy-nominated duo SIDEPIECE will headline the inaugural Echoes Of Us electronic music event, presented by Tang Events. The event hits Melbourne on Saturday, November 7, and Sydney on Sunday, November 8, featuring tech house, minimal tech, and techno.
The event highlights its locations: Sydney’s White Bay Power Station will incorporate the industrial landmark through sound, lighting, and architectural elements, while Melbourne’s venue is beneath the Graham Street Bridge. Headliners SIDEPIECE will bring their house sound to both cities. Their Diplo collaboration, ‘On My Mind’, earned a 2021 Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Recording, establishing them as major electronic artists.
German producer Marten Hørger, who has over 150 million streams and collaborations with David Guetta, Alesso, and Tchami, joins the tech house and techno lineup. Also performing are Croatian producer Matroda, founder of Terminal Underground, and masked French producer MALAA, known for his bass-heavy sound and releases on Tchami’s Confession label.
Completing the international lineup is Sydney-born, LA-based producer Wax Motif, a key pioneer of G-House. Emerging act HILLS and Australian DJ/producer Coco Bevan round out the bill. According to Tang Events‘ Damian Chan, Echoes Of Us centres on the synergy between artists, unique industrial venues, and immersive production, aiming to become a staple of Australia’s electronic music scene.
