Matt Fax refines his melodic signature on new single ‘Tomorrow’

On 20 May, French electronic artist Matt Fax unveiled his new single, ‘Tomorrow,’ via the Colorize imprint. Known for a distinctive blend of emotive songwriting and technical mastery, Matt Fax continues to garner acclaim from major industry tastemakers, including BBC Radio 1, Armin van Buuren, and Above & Beyond.

Starting his career at 15, Matt Fax has released acclaimed albums like Contrast and Progressions. A staple of the Colorize label for nearly a decade, his official remixes and collaborations with artists such as Armin van Buuren,  Gryffin, Jason Ross, NERVO and BT have cemented his influential role in the progressive and melodic electronic scene.

In his latest offering, Tomorrow,’ Matt further refines his melodic signature, producing a piece that is as emotionally resonant as it is deeply immersive. Driving dance-inspired percussion drives the track from the start, surrounded by detailed synth layers and shifting textures. A break from the thumping kick drums breaks down into a masterfully crafted cinematic soundscape packed with ambient swells and beautiful synthesised pads. This track stands as a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship and evocative depth characteristic of Matt’s artistic output, and is sure to strike a chord with fans of Estiva, Yotto, and Braxton.
