Drake surprised fans by launching three distinct LPs simultaneously on 15 May 2026: Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour. This triple-threat release features a heavy-hitting lineup, including 21 Savage, Future, Molly Santana, Sexyy Red, and Loe Shimmy. The production side is equally stacked, with beats provided by Boi-1da, Riot, Ovrkast, DJ Frisco954, and several others.
The announcement for this back-to-back-to-back drop originally came during the fourth installment of the artist’s Iceman livestream series. That broadcast also showcased several music videos filmed mostly in Toronto, with appearances by Shane Gillis, DJ Akademiks, and Drake’s son, Adonis. Each album features striking visual themes: Maid of Honour uses a portrait of Drake’s mother in her youth; Iceman showcases a sequined glove reminiscent of Michael Jackson; and Habibti presents a monochrome image of a woman obscured by masking tape, with only her eyes exposed.
The three albums are the rapper’s first solo projects since the release of For All the Dogs in 2023. These new works come after Drake’s highly publicized clash with Kendrick Lamar. Drake first mentioned Iceman at the beginning of last year, stating, “When the time is right, I’ll be back with another album, a one-on-one conversation with y’all that you need to hear,” during a stop on his Anita Max Win Tour.
In the lead-up to the album’s release, Drake commissioned a team to create a giant ice sculpture in downtown Toronto, with the premiere date of the album hidden inside. In 2025, he also released $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, a collaborative album with PartyNextDoor.
