German dance and house music producer Oliver Koletzki, recently shared the latest single ‘Schnapsidee’ from his highly anticipated twelfth studio album 12 which is slated for release on 10 April.
The single dropped on Oliver’s label Stil vor Talent which was co-founded with Slawjana Ulrich. This is Oliver’s fourth release in the build-up to his album, and holds a much more playful and whimsical atmosphere compared to the three previously released singles; ‘Trip With Me’ featuring Frida Darko, ‘I Don’t Need Your Love’ and ‘Petrichor’.
‘Schnapsidee’ adds a lighthearted and fun element to the album, while showcasing Oliver’s formidable creative dynamism! The track features high-spirited, quirky synths, a groove-laden bassline, frisky percussion, along with an air of unpredictability and curiosity throughout.
So far, 12 is shaping up to be some of Oliver’s most prolific work to date, as it zooms in on the relationship between introspection and rhythm-driven influences, which forms the foundation of the album. Additionally, the album will exhibit Oliver’s knack for experimentation, the ebb and flow of emotion, as well as the importance of reflection.
