FKA twigs is stepping into a new era of artistry with Eusexua Afterglow, a full-length follow-up to her January masterpiece Eusexua. The British icon closed her summer tour at Lowlands Festival, where she said: “I am full and abundant and ready to give birth… Her name is Afterglow, and my labor shall commence next month.”
Her team confirmed that the project is not a deluxe rework, but an entirely new album — clearly, twigs is on a momentous roll of creative output.
The original Eusexua shimmered with heat and intimacy, a decadent exploration of desire, while her recent single ‘Perfectly’ painted a picture of a playful imagination with effortless precision. Now, FKA twigs is ready to expand that world, teasing what could be her most evocative and sensual body of work yet.
