Avante garde trio The Physics House Band have released “Calypso”, the first track off upcoming mini-album Mercury Fountain (due out April 21st on Small Pond).
The Brighton outfit’s swirling, busy blend of prog rock, jazz and psychtronica has earned them some high-profile fans, including comedian Stewart Lee, who describes the new record memorably – as a “super-dense sci-fi mindfuck of a thing.”
