Following an unforgettable night with Benjamin Damage & Etapp Kyle, we return to Bloc on July 30th to celebrate one year of GREY:MATTER. To help us celebrate, we’ll be welcoming two Berghain / Ostgut Ton staples, Marcel Fengler & Boris, alongside our residents Pleiades & Øliver.

Marcel Fengler is a DJ/Producer that has carved his own course in the scene, demonstrating an uncompromising work-rate and passion for his craft. From regularly commanding the dancefloor at Berghain, to the impact of his own imprint, IMF, Fengler’s contribution and pace shows no sign of slowing. His sets are characteristically offensive and dynamic, hard and consistent, whilst retaining emotion and being packed full of energy. He’ll be coming armed to Bloc with an extended 3 hour set.

Similarly to Fengler, Boris’ name has become synonymous with Berlin’s techno mecca, Berghain. In fact, Boris was one of few artists that took up residency at OstGut / Panorama Bar, before it evolved into what is now Berghain – it was here that he first built his loyal following from sets that carried on way past noon. Also an influential part of the Ostgut Ton camp, Boris bring’s a powerful driving sound, yet one that remains versatile for its surroundings.

Support on the night will be delivered by two of the finest selectors on our roster, Pleiades & Øliver, coming in the form of a rare, extended back to back opening set. Those of you that have seen them play before, will be fully aware of the synergy and energy that they bring to the decks time and time again.
